WEB DESIGN
Ivy Leaves Journal of Literature and Art is an annual student-led publication
by the art and literature departments of Anderson University. Every spring,
students submit a variety of creative works and writings to be showcased in
either the physical publication or in The Peristyle, which is the journal’s
exclusive online column.
The Ivy Leaves website is re-designed every year tailored to each new edition’s
branding and content. It is geared towards Anderson University students and
design professionals, implying that the site must be visually appealing, easily
navigable, and individually engaging.
The branding of the 99th edition in spring 2024 was a combination of futuristic
elements with nods to old internet and modern publication design styles.
It represents a look to the past before venturing into the future of a new century.
