DENOUE

TYPOGRAPHY

Denoue (pronounced “day-NOO”) is history made modern. Originally, this typeface
was inspired by a book published in 1930s Germany that was found in an Anderson,
South Carolina, antique shop.

Clean and minimalist yet approachable and versatile, this typeface is a display sans
serif that repurposes typography from a dark era in the past for new and noble means
in the present.

The clean lines and wide stance give Denoue a bold and confident appearance, but its
visual simplicity allows it to accommodate an array of applications. It has three styles:
Regular, Oblique, and Outlined.

Denoue was featured in the Transcend: Across, Beyond, and Through typography show
held in Anderson University’s Chiquola Studios in December 2023.
